Redesign an abandoned WordPress site for a national performer. Must be mobile responsive and include an events calendar.
PROCESS & CHALLENGES
The original website was built in 2014, using a theme and plugins that are no longer supported or updated. The site events content was being updated, but technical elements were not being maintained. Mobile view of the events calendar was jumbled and difficult to read causing issues for mobile users. To solve this, I introduced an updated theme, customized the interface elements, added new content and utilized an events plugin that was user-friendly enough that the performer can update his show dates directly. The new aesthetic represents the performer more accurately and is mobile-ready.
